Alexandra Timber Tramway & Museum
Visitors can experience the era of bush sawmills and tramways in the Rubicon Forest during the early 1900s. Enjoy a ride on a steam locomotive, view an extensive collection of industrial rolling stock and visit the museum which showcases exhibits relating to the timber logging industry.

Cathedral Range State Park
Situated between Alexandra and Marysville, this park encompasses a spectacular ridge of sharply upturned sedimentary rock, from which views of the forests and farmland in the valleys below can be enjoyed.

Great Victorian Rail Trail
Covering more than 130 kilometres, this trail extends along the former railway between Tallarook and Mansfield. It passes through Yea and Alexandra, then crosses the northern tip of Lake Eildon at Bonnie Doon.
