Barwon Bluff & Marine Sanctuary

Where the Barwon River enters Bass Strait, it creates a wide diversity of places for animals and plants to live. The Barwon Estuary Heritage Centre (the Lobster Pot) is located next to the fishermen's jetty and is open for visitors at certain times of the year to learn about marine life, the flora and fauna of Barwon Bluff, the indigenous people of the area and local history.
