The museum is the former home of the Dimboola Banner - a local newspaper which was first printed here in 1879. These days, the museum is home to a rare and operable collection of vintage equipment including printing presses and associated machinery. There are also displays of print history and memorabilia.

Giant murals depicting life in the local community have been painted on grain silos by renowned artists. Artwork can be viewed on 16 groups of silos at Albacutya, Arkona, Brim, Goroke, Horsham, Kaniva, Lascelles, Murtoa, Nullawil, Patchewollock, Rosebery, Rupanyup, Sea Lake, Sheep Hills, St Arnaud and Walpeup.
