At Gariwerd Motel, guests enjoy comfortable and affordable accommodation that is just 700 metres from the centre of Halls Gap.

There are 25 quiet and spacious rooms available. Choose from either budget rooms at the front or newly renovated superior rooms with more comfort and style at the side and back of the motel. Each room includes a TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, air-conditioning and ensuite. Room configurations can cater for between one and 5 guests.

At reception is a DVD library and a kiosk where you can purchase refreshments, snacks and a few basic grocery items.

A buffet breakfast is available. Either choose from a basic offering with cereal, toast and coffee, or a larger selection with hot breakfast favourites.

Gariwerd Motel is surrounded by mountains and is nestled in extensive grounds. Enjoy a BBQ or make use of the communal kitchen. There is plenty of seating outside, hammocks and fire pits.

The lawns around the motel are regularly visited by native wildlife including kangaroos, emus and kookaburras.

Gariwerd Motel undertakes a number of environmental initiatives including the use of green energy, eco-friendly cleaners, composting of food waste and the planting of food gardens around the property for guests to help themselves to.
