Jamieson Caravan Park

Jamieson Caravan Park is located on the banks of the Jamieson River and is a fantastic place to unwind in a tranquil setting. Enjoy the friendly country town, the European trees, relaxing by the river and adventures in the surrounding hills.

Set on 2½ beautiful hectares of park-like gardens, Jamieson Caravan Park is perfect for a getaway with family and friends.

There are 25 powered camp sites, partially covered by shady trees. There are portable gas BBQs on wheels and fire pits which guests can take to take to their site. Wood is available for purchase.

Riverfront accommodation consists of 2 bedroom cabins with ensuites (sleeps 5) and standard single room cabins with no ensuite (sleeps 6). Other accommodation includes ensuite cabins for couples (sleeps 2), ensuite family cabins (sleep 6) and newly renovated standard cabins with no ensuite (sleeps 4 or 6).

A recent addition to the park are glamping tents which provide a luxurious option without the hassle of bringing equipment and setting up a tent. Each glamping tent has a queen size bed, microwave, fridge, oil heater and fan. While perfect for couples, single mattresses for up to 2 extra guests can be provided.

There is plenty to keep kids and the young at heart occupied, including a volleyball field, basketball hoop, playground, table tennis table, solar heated swimming pool, a waterslide which operates on selected days in summer, and lots of grass to run around on. There is a big communal fire pit with seats and picnic tables throughout the park. Enjoy swimming in the river or rent a kayak from the park and take to the water.

The Jamieson area has many options for nature lovers and the adventurous. Fishing, four-wheel driving, dirt bike riding, mountain biking, cycling, horse riding, hunting, and hiking to name a few.

The nearest boat ramp at Lake Eildon is just a 10 minute drive away. Lake Eildon is ideal for boating, jet skiing and many more water activities. Take a 25 minute drive to Mansfield or one hour to Mount Buller which is a year round destination. It is great for snow skiing in winter and bushwalking or down hill biking during the rest of the year.
