Glass doors from one side of the upstairs living area lead onto a covered balcony which has a table and seating. The opposite side of the living area opens onto a deck with a large dining table.

The Birdhouse is located within a 5 minute walk of the sandy beach at Port Welshpool's historic Long Jetty. Take a stroll along this jetty which spans 800 metres or cast a line from its fishing stations.

The local Port Welshpool General Store and the Pier Port Hotel are one kilometre from the property. The larger towns of Foster and Yarram are 20 minutes drive away, providing supermarkets, cafe and shops.
