Murray to Mountains Rail Trail

A scenic walking and cycling track which spans over 100 kilometres and traverses the ever-changing landscapes of farmland, natural bushland and hidden valleys. Along the way, visit wineries, breweries, gourmet producers and explore historic towns. The trail extends from Wangaratta to Bright and Harrietville, with branches out to Milawa, Beechworth, Yackandandah and Wandiligong. There is also a separate section from Rutherglen to Wahgunyah.

This park features the steep scarped Warby Range which offers spectacular viewing points along the ridge, many varieties of birdlife, wildflowers and good picnic and BBQ spots. It also includes the scenic lower reaches of the Ovens River which adjoins the Murray River between Yarrawonga and Rutherglen, featuring old growth red gum forest and an ideal place for fishing, boating and camping.
